Collection: Voyager

When Edmond Dantes escaped the Chateau D'If, he was found the next morning exhausted on a rock.  He was picked up by a pirate ship which soon set sail and encountered another vessel.  A skirmish ensued and Dantes was shot in the shoulder.  After so many years in prison, feeling nothing, he enjoyed the searing pain of the gunshot as it was something he was at last able to feel.  He exclaimed - 'Pain, you are not an evil!'
